Amazing environment and atmosphere, delicious food, great cocktails, and the best staff around, they are so friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend coming here for your next night out! The atmosphere of this place screams Rochester- which we absolutely adored!! Cozy, upscale but also the feel of the house next door. All the feels for any occasion. Service was top notch- from the moment we walked in we were greeted by 3 different employees and seated promptly. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions.
Ok, let’s talk FOOD. Simply 10/10. We tried the ricotta and calamari small plates, mussel special, sunchoke risotto (my fav), short rib, burger, steak special and schnitzel (4 of us split everything)- dynamic flavors that leave you craving more on every dish. I have been in the industry for most of my life. I have seen it all and as a true industry person I understand the difference between simply serving food and loving what you do. It’s hard to explain but I could literally taste the passion in their food it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Perfectly crusted, just the right acidity and herbality in the chimi but the way they placed the compound butter on the warm plate to melt under and not over the steak, (which would have ruined the Carmel) was awesome. Great food and amazing service . Henry was a great server and JJ was very informative about the wine pairing etc. from the time we walked in the door til the time we left, we were greeted by such a friendly and professional staff. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.  We had cod croquettes and ricotta with caponata canapé for appetizers and then the red snapper special for dinner.
